During my last semester at Kennesaw State University, I was taking a Surface modeling class to finish my minor in Engineering and Design. One of the projects we were assigned was to completry surface model an existing helicopter or plane. This helicopter or plane must be able to hold at least one person and must be fully enclosed. Due to its complexity and world wide recognition, I decided to model the F22 Raptor.
Modeling this Jet was much different than my other surface models due to the amount of variations and horizontal planes in the jet. What I mean by this is if you look at the nose, the angle of inclination does not match the angle provided by the wings. This made it difficult to be able to create a clean model however with some clever thinking I was able to blend it together well. Check out my final renders below.
